Best-Selling Dog Tubs

Our most Popular Pet Baths

We’ve put together this page to aid you further in your search for a great dog bath. We’ve counted up the sales from our three main product pages and present them here for you to see which the most popular pet tubs are (at this time!). And so below you’ll find the best-selling basic, advanced and grooming baths for dogs…

Best-Selling Basic Dog Tub for Home Useflying pig domestic dog tub

This ‘Flying Pig’ pet tub is, without any doubt, our best-selling dog bath for home use. Flying Pig tends to specialize in in stainless steel grooming tubs and we feature several of their designs on our grooming tub page. But, it seems, they know how to go about building a basic dog tub for home use also! Having said that, we feel that they have been influenced in their design, just a little, by the extremely popular ‘Booster Bath’ which can also be found on our Basic Bath page. The two designs follow the same basic principles: a solid plastic tub with a drainage hose sat on top of a sturdy frame. The Booster Bath achieves better balance with its splayed plastic legs, but the Flying Pig, with its more compact, metallic frame, allows for easier access to the pet with legs that aren’t as likely to get in the way of the owner as he or she circles around the tub. Both of the baths do their jobs well, however, and there’s little to choose between them – including their prices. There are more accessories available for the Booster and this may just give it the edge overall when the two products are compared. In our opinion the Flying Pig looks neater, tougher and is slightly better value for money. But, when all’s said and done, this page is here for the best-selling dog baths on this site. And as mentioned at the beginning, nothing comes close at this time to Flying Pig’s Portable Pet Bath when it comes to a basic dog tub for domestic use.

Best-Selling Tub for Home / Professional Usemini stainless steel grooming tub

Flying Pig come to the fore again (see above) in this category with their Mini Grooming Bath. Although obviously on the small side, this tub, we suspect, has gained its popularity through being a kind of crossover between a domestic and a professional tub and thereby appealing to more buyers. What also makes it an attractive proposition is its price and the nice accessories that come with that – a faucet and a sprayer, both complete with hoses. These are items that even some of the most expensive grooming tubs don’t always include! Of course, a mini tub is going to automatically exclude both owners and groomers of large dogs. But for those who are only ever going to bathe smaller dogs and pets and require something a little grander than a basic domestic tub, this is ideal. The tub is solidly built from 16 gauge 304 rust-resistant stainless steel, has removable side and backsplashes for easier access if wished (the backsplash houses a couple of restraining eyelets), and, as well as the faucet and sprayer, the tub also comes with a shampoo rack and a floor mat. Overall it’s a small but solid product in more ways than one. And, so far, it’s easily out-selling those other advanced tubs that inhabit the middle ground between domestic and professional.

Our Best-Selling Grooming Tubcheapest grooming tub for dogs

Of the three categories in our best-sellers list, the prize for the most popular professional grooming tub is the closest run. In the lead at this time, by a whisker, is the Master Equipment PolyPro Lift. Almost certainly, what makes this grooming tub so popular is its price. It is much cheaper than similar designs constructed from stainless steel – even those that do not have the benefit of a lift! Undoubtedly, it’s the relatively low cost of polypropylene over steel that make this tub so much more affordable than most – no wonder they incorporate this material into the product’s title! It is understandably much lighter than most steel-based grooming tubs but also possesses those all-important properties that stainless steel has, being both stain and rust-resistant. The lifting frame, however, is constructed from powder-coated steel to give good solid strength to the typical X and H-shaped base. Along with this sturdy set-up comes a good range of accessories from an overhead grooming arm above to a long drainage hose below. It also comes in a range of colors and so if you don’t like purple, other, more subtle, shades are available instead. It’s very difficult to fault this product in any way – it’s simple and cheap but very effective at the same time! Whether it stays in the lead for sales or not, only time will tell. But whatever happens, it’s certainly giving the more traditional stainless steel grooming tubs a good run for their money! And even though it’s a professional piece of equipment, at such a comparatively low price it could even suit home use if enough space for it can be found!
